Beginning her career journey with roles in sales, marketing, and business development at AstraZeneca and Pfizer, Folake’s exemplary track record speaks to her ability to achieve sustainable business growth and transformation. She has thrived in challenging markets across Africa, with notable international exposure, including a recent tenure in the United States.

Before joining Sanofi Global In Boston, Massachusetts, where she currently serves as the Director of Rare Diseases, she served as General Manager General Medicines and Country Lead for Sanofi in Nigeria ( and Ghana), where she consistently led teams towards groundbreaking achievements.

Her advocacy extends into her roles leading the Global Employee Resource Group (ERG) for Culture and Origins+ at Sanofi and serving as the first employee representative on Sanofi’s Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Board.
